Nice work on the tranny paint. I like that pan too. Should keep the fluid cooler than a standard pan.

Installed my Converter Lockup Wiring kit from TCI, installed my tranny pan and my Milodon Dipstick and swapped my 700r4 into the frame. Still have to drill new holes for my transmission crossmember as the 700r4 conveniently does not use any of the pre-existing tranny holes already in the frame.

Drilled new holes for my transmission crossmember and bolted it in. Then masked off the frame and repainted the trans to try to get it to match the engine better.

It'll be a shame to cover up all that hard exhaust, frame, and paint work. Looks good I can't wait to see it finished up.

Wow now I'm really jealous, it took me 2 years just to do the front disk swap on mine. But i think time, space and funding is playing a big part of my lack of progress.

Well got some parts for my motor in today, opening up the boxes was just like christmas morning. Brodix IK180 heads, Lunati 60103 cam, Comp Roller Rockers, Comp Hardened Pushrods, Arp Head bolts and Intake bolts and Fel-pro gaskets :metal: Can't wait to get all this installed on my motor but probably won't be until I get the cab done and in primer.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Well i sent back all the motor parts I purchased for my truck a couple weeks ago. I talked myself into sending everything back cause I know I need a lot of parts for this restoration so the money is better spent elsewhere at this time. Plus no matter what I do to my small block I want a Big Block anyway
