Only reason I will take this bet is I know he is taking it to Goodguys in Ft Worth which is the first weekend in October. After that show, I would have to pass on the wager.

So since it's running so good I thought I'd better take it apart and start screwing it up because who wants a good running truck?
I'm going to give it a simple cleaning and some fresh paint on the motor and add HEI while I'm under the hood. My wife told me tonight that by the weekend I will have talked myself into pulling the motor and painting everything under the hood.......lets hope she's wrong..

How about a Pertronix upgrade under the stock distributor...a little less mass than an HEI and only about $100.00 with a high output coil. Looks great by the way!

I already have a HEI or I would run the Petronix's......it's not going to look super nice anyway.....just clean and simple with a HUGE distributor hanging off the side.
