Re: MY little Project....
So small up date this weekend i'm hopping to bring the rear down by moving the shackle and hangers up on the frame rail and maby buy a sending unit as i hate not knowing how much gas is in my truck!!! lol and just tinker/clean up under the hood an and stuff
Oh and fix my wiper arms!!! the lil splines on my pass side one chewed them selves off so it doesnt wipe now haha |
Re: MY little Project....
Got a new updated list to tackle:
-Put a new hangger breaing DONE -Fix gas tank (new sending unit) -hitch -fix the Hydro boost (it's leaking some where might throw a new steering box also.)DONE -fix leaky valve cover -fix leaky oil pan -fix oil press guge -fix dash lights (they majically all came back on while driving?) DONE -Get stock C35 rear leaf packs (has old tow truck ones raises the back up about 2 inches more than it should be) -mabye while the motors apart paint and clean it up a little. Think thats it. |

Re: MY little Project....
I think it would be easier to build a 4-link and bag it than to keep messing around with those leaf springs...and you'd end up with a better ride.

Re: MY little Project....
If you can weld and run a grinder you're half way there....think I had around $500 in mine.....steel, bushings, and two bags. It's worth looking into especially if you want to go real low anyway...

Re: MY little Project....
looks good so far, you just need to decide how your gonna lower the back a little more and get it one color.
I think with your spring's you could do the flip kit with only cut'n the extra sqare stock off the bottom. then save up for some 22.5's ! |
