Yes they are! I was told they're quieter on the street that way. I'll most likely reverse them back just because..

Awesome build! Loving the interior color change as well. So how come it's in a garage now and not the body shop awaiting the paint?

Well the body shop guy turned out to be a crook. He took my money and hardly did any work in the 10 months that he had it. He kept asking for a little more time which I gave to him, but enough was enough and I had to get my Blazer out of his shop. It's now in my friend's garage and he knows what he's doing. When I picked it up he shoved everything inside and put the hatch on top so I couldn't really see if all my parts were in there. When I got it over to my buddy's house we emptied it out and he stole almost all my new engine parts. The carb, serpentine kit, fuel pump, water pump. He even kept my battery! I'm in the process of suing him, but even if I win (which should be easy) that doesn't mean I'll get my stuff or money back. It's been a nightmare to say the least. Here's what I'm talking about him throwing everything inside...

Re: Project Swagger

Really sorry to hear about all the body shop issues. I paid a guy $600 to buy materials and while it was at his house he stole my gas tank and an $80 carb bracket setup that he put on (bought the truck from him) Never saw the money...he supposedly bought the supplies then one day came to work and it was closed down and he couldn't get in to get even his tools.....RIGHT......

I thought of suing him, but I can't stand the litigious society as is....

Sorry to hear about that. There are some good body guys out there but I personally have been taken a few times myself. Just gotta keepmoving forward. I do believe in karma!

Matt, I'm really sorry to hear about the bad body shop deal and him thieving all your parts. I wish you the best of luck and hope you can get your investment back at least. But, your blazer is looking great now!

I'm sorry to hear about your lost money, parts, and time. That sucks! I wish you the best in litigation, although it's a shame it has to come to that. It's too bad there are so many dishonest people in the world. But atleast your buddy can make it right, and maybe show you the ropes along the way.

Hey Brian!

I'll have some great progress pics in about a week. The serpentine kit and all the accessories should be mounted up. I got my seatbelts restored with Python Restoration so here's a pic of those!

Matthew,
This is Owen, the guy you bought the seats from. Is the guy that ripped you off named Martin by any chance?

Over the next 2-3 weeks the wiring and exhaust will be completed. I got a new Painless kit for a great price! I'm going with a mandrel bent exhaust, x-pipe, and flowmaster mufflers..

What pulley set up is that? I've been wondering how I could fit another compressor on my drives for a/c, and it looks like this would be the ticket! Looks darn good too!
