i think that the factory rake is just perfect on these trucks but i want the overall thing a little lower to the ground. I plan on lowering mine with springs all around.

saw this truck when i first got on the site and ive always loved the stance - this to me is straight hot rod and hopefully the stance i can achieve when i can finally drop coin on spindles for my 85 disc/xmember conversion

id love to do a SWB gasser version of our trucks one day but my LWB is getting the rake treatment

i agree that this stance is bad ass and what i strive for and i belive is is leaning on crutches .

'66 short Fleetside with a 5"/6" drop. Truck is blown apart for body work now, replacing the chrome ralleys with 15x7 steelies and narrow white walls.

to me, it doesn't get much better than that! :metal: what size tires are you running in those pics? and what size will you be running with the steelies/narrow whites? i had thought about a similar look but decided to keep mine looking stock...still planning for a lowered build in the future tho

I think a fleetside looks good with a very slight rake or none at all.
But I think a stepside definitely needs rake.

here my ratty ol truck. im doing something a little diffrent from the rest. im makin mine in to a taildragger like from the 50s
