Re: Show off your Wheels
My Howard Knapp truck was an old farm/ranch truck (1952/53 1 ton Chevy truck)....so are his wheels...stock 15" off of a 1967 Chevy truck...I am not much of a guy to spend money on nice wheels...all I care is are they round and do they hold air...
http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps38ee4975.jpg they do both...cool wheel huh?....cost me $100.00 for all 4...:) MikeC |

Its with me up in edmonton currently. Its a 15 footer. On a shortened s10 chassis, Its getting the mill out of my Chevelle, 6.0l lq4, stock rotating assembly but turbo cam, head studs, along with the billet 76 bw turbo. That combo went 9.5@144 in my chevelle on 16psi. Also installing a 4l80e and a 9" with converging 4 link. I just want to do rolling burnouts in the thing, beat on the car a little less with the new combo thats going in. lol You probably know my car, 72 Chevelle, cream colored with a turbo ls swap. |
Re: Show off your Wheels
Oh awesome! I know your Chevelle its got the whole sleeper thing going on haha. I have admired your car for a long time. I have talked to you a couple of times years ago. You may know a few of my vehicles in my signature.

Re: Show off your Wheels
Where did you get the chrome cetner cap and lugs from? I have a 1957 with the same rims and want to do the same thing. What size are the center caps? THanks.

Re: Show off your Wheels
LugNutKing IV. U can find them on EBay or the Internet. Center caps are 3.45 diameter for Ford trucks.

Re: Show off your Wheels
Did it fit exactly or did you have to grind the wheels a little to make them fit?

Re: Show off your Wheels
1995 Corvette ZR1 wheels. I used two sets of front wheels. 17x9.5 -52mm offset. 275/45-17 on all corners. I powder coated them Speedway Grey with Casper Clear topcoat.

Re: Show off your Wheels
Eshahak - they slid right in. No modifications necessary. I get a lot of compliments, people seem to like them. The price was good, and delivery was fast. Have bought more from them since then and never had a problem. Post a picture when you get em installed!
