Starting to look like a truck again. Just imagine what you could accomplish with a nice big shop that was climate controlled.

If you still wanted to do underneath the cab you could take it back off and roll it onto the rear of the cab. One of the members did his that way and seemed to work nice and be the safest way to do it.

Ya man a shop with a lift would be awesome! One day! That cab is heavier than I thought it would be, so I'll play it safe and get it from under the truck. I have started putting things back together in the engine bay, making progress but realizing I need more stuff!

I have been making progress this week / weekend, and had a good wrecking yard outing.

LOVE the wagon wheels! Sometimes I get confused if I don't use my flow chart. 6 lug 9.5" = K20. 8 lug 10.5" = K10

You got it man! I think I need some kind of flow chart to keep me on the right track. Nothing like back tracking 58 times on a build. :banghead:

Looking good! I was behind and I just watched 4 or 5 videos. You need a reality TV gig! :metal:

I may have been confused also. I thought this truck was going to be your trail rig, but just noticed in your sig it says tow rig. They are both nice trucks no matter how you use them!

Thanks Greenlee! It may be the tow rig but it still has to be capable enough to get the K10 unstuck and back home, so maybe it should be a called a Tow / Rescue vehicle :)

More work, doors, fender, hood and relocated my pcm.

Figured I would start on cleaning up the cab, and trying out some seats. Seats did not fit so well so I ended up taking my bench seat to be re-upholstered. I also found some rust that will have to be dealt with.

I don't know what it is about repairing rust but it's just not that much fun! However I did find the motivation to repair the cab floor. I also installed the grille, headlight bezels and lower valance, she is starting to look like a truck now and I like it!

Made some progress on the interior, painted the door panels and stained the wood door pulls. Reinstalled them and insulated the floor with some reflectix.

Great work. You love those blazer tanks! Hard to argue with NOT having a damn selector valve and associated plumbing.

Thanks Marcus, I do love the the blazer tanks because my brain cannot handle two tanks with a selector valve lol. So Just 1 tank and now it will have good range and no switching. Also I was unsure about the saddle tanks, would I have needed a pump assy in each tank, if so that would set me back more dough!

Hey Dave, I had commented before on your Youtube channel about ordering carpet from Stock Interiors. I finally finished my floor and got it installed today. The fit is decent, and didn't take much trimming. A tiny bit around the back "shelf," around the door sills, and a little bit around the heater box.

http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2..._125058955.jpg

Oh, and I picked up a Hawkbill/Linoleum knife for trimming the carpet. It made trimming the carpet a breeze. Much easier then shears or a regular carpet knife.

If your still deciding, I'd suggest the Stock Interiors.

Thanks for the info, it looks good.

I got back to working on the truck. Turbo 400 work, filter kit, Lokar dipstick, and vacuum modulator, and I took you guys with me on a little field trip! :)
