Well we got a little bit more done on the firewall today. Finished shaving it and adding the piece to make it more cimetrical. Ordered the manifold for the "Old Air" A/C.

Steadily working at it. Got started on the behind the rear marker lamp filler for the Boyde tank. I am going with the full 2" neck so the tank fills rapidly. Bit of a job and tight quarters but should fill better than the 1 3/8" Blazer fill. Just need to button it up now. WES

Not a lot to report on the Tribute Truck today. Just cleaning up some random holes and boxing the bed cross sill that I cut to fit the Boyde gas tank.

The cab is getting close to being bodyworked. Probably another day and it will be. Spent most of the day cutting all the holes needed for a cargo light and headliner.

Time to fix the left rocker.. Well and everything else I found under it.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.
That looks like fun, I'm sure you'll get it done...it's gonna be a a nice truck.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.
Thank you. Ya, been here before. I am glad I decided to the rockers as a matter of maintenance. The rockers weren't bad, but with the paint going on, I didn't want the rust to appear after it was done.

Re: Beth's tribute truck.
The rockers on my '68 Stepside are shot. Can't blame a PO. I did it. As a 20-something I splashed in the surf at San Diego and Daytona -- both coasts. I was young and indestructable and so was my truck. By 2021 I'd be flying a Hovercar anyway.
