Here's mine. Cut 2 coils off front springs, Jeep tj springs in rear with 2'' lowering blocks. Rides like crap. I bought 3''/5'' drop coils and shocks from CPP but haven't got em on yet. Also have a set of steelies and dog dish caps waiting to go on, I really, really hate those wagon wheels...

Wayne,

Thanks

is your frame a 67 as well? from what reading i did the bushing choice is dictated by the frame. my frame is a 72. i cant tell if it is just alignment that is causing the fenders to seem high in the front and i have to diddle with everything to get the result i want or if it is actually the bushing situation. i have very little bodywork experience so i am kind of in the dark about what i am looking at.

i suppose since this is a picture thread i should post one...

Nice rides and though I loved my 72 I just wanted to get back to the slant nose front end. I can see that I am not alone. :metal:

i made a custom billet grill.bought one from a 73-87 chevy style truck then cut it around my gmc headlight openings.then used a press to get the right bend to match my front clip.

Albe 68----Love the color of your truck!
What color blue? I have a 67 4x4x step that the previous owner put a 71-72 clip on and I'm changing over back to a 67 early spring and am looking at blue for paint. It was originally dark blue metalic which as of now do not know the original paint code. Good job!

I bought 5 lug axle shafts for the rear from ECE. Spindles, rotors (had them machined), and master cylinder/booster/prop valve came from a 72 donor truck. The calipers, pads, drums, shoes, etc.. I just bought from local auto parts stores.

The truck was 3/5 static drop with steelies and whitewalls when I got it. I'm headed back that way, but probably with air ride. The suspension and steering stuff was so shot when I got the truck that I thought turning everything back to stock first was a good idea.
