Well kick me in the junk!! The front wheels are bent or something as they took a TON of weight to balance them out the best they could... I am going to take them back this weekend and see if they can do a better job. SO PISSED!

So, now that I bought expensive a$$ tires, I may need new rims. How well do 275 tires fit on 9.5" wheel and 245 fit on 8.5 wheels?

I have tried to find other front camaro wheels but none are available for now...

Sucks that you're having troubles. Have them break the tire loose and spin it some.

I re-looked at it. One has 5 1/2 oz on one side (near outer edge, and the other has 4 1/2 or 5 oz in the same place. So prob not too bad, gunna try it.

Well hell, now I have an issue of my front tires rubbing and cutting. 4.5 drop, do I need to remove my inner fenders? I don't want to do that.

Where are they rubbing & cutting?

Mark the current location of the tires as installed on the wheels. Pull the tires off & check the wheel balance w/o tires. See if they're off balance. They should run pretty true being OE/aluminum. If they check ok, re-clock the tires on the wheels & re-balance. These aren't a factory installed wheel so expect to pay for the 'investigative' service as well.

You probably need to roll your fenders if you went with a 2" spacer up front. I ran mine with my factoy inners they would scrub some but not to bad.

Thanks for replying Scoti and Blue,

I am rubbing on the drivers side most and that is where the cutting occurred as well on the fender lip. Looking at both sides, I noticed my passenger side wheel sits in further than my drivers side wheel. Don't know if this is because my front clip is not on straight or just how it came from the factory. Looks like fender rolling is in my future, luckily it does not appear to be much.

So for those who have run these rims, is it pretty much guaranteed that the front fenders need to be rolled on one side or the other? And if so, were you guys able to still get the wheel trim installed after?

that's going to depend on how much drop you have and what thickness spacers you run. I rolled mine just where they needed it across the top. I put the fender trim back on an "rolled" it with a dead blow hammer where needed also. The trim is missing maybe 2 screws but still stays on fairly well.

I like them a lot and a definite upgrade IMO.

My spacers are 2” and my front drop is 4”. Drop spindle and ridetech springs. How much of the 2” spacer could be machined off you think before you ran into the interference issues mentioned with the 1.5” spacers? My tires are also 30” which may pose a problem as well. I may have to grab a tire that’s not quite as tall. Currently have 255/50/20 tires for the front.

What size tire are you running and did you roll the front fenders?

There isn't enough there to machine any thing off safely. You can get a 1.75" thick one too. You will need a shorter narrower tire along with the fender rolling if you want to keep the 2" spacer.

Re: 2010 Camaro Wheels on Lowered C10

Thats what i was afraid of. Really dont want to roll the fenders so i may have to try and sell the camaro rims and look for something else. Thinking new tires may have to happen as well. Live and learn i guess. LOL. Thats what i get for being impatient.

Would the 1.75" spacers have any interference issues with fitment? Saw where some posted issues when going the 1.5" spacer route.

Re: 2010 Camaro Wheels on Lowered C10

Why are you against rolling the fenders? No one can see an they never know unless I tell them.

I have 1.5" spacers on the front an you'd have to grind out the center of the wheel for it to fit, on 1.25" rotors anyhow. I haven't tried 1.75" ones so I'm not sure if the same problem would be there or not.

Re: 2010 Camaro Wheels on Lowered C10

So that’s an interesting point. My truck has the 1” rotors. Have seen where the hubs are quite a bit smaller. I wonder if the 1” rotors still have the clearance issue? I may give the 1.5” spacers a try up front.

I worry too that my truck may not be low enough up front to pull these rims off. Front is only lowered 4” with 2.5 spindles and ridetech coils which give about a 1.5” drop. That’s why I was going to go with a taller tire. To help fill some of the space. I feel like these rims really need the tire to tuck to get a good look.

Rolling the fenders just kind of makes me want to look for something else. Not really sure why though. Lol

What's the best way to make this work swapping over from a 6 lug setup?

I've got some 5gh Gen Z28 wheels I want to run and don't an to toss the Baer brake system I'm running.

If I can simply swap to a 5 lug rotor and run a spacer, I'd be all over it.
