I don't believe mine has been posted on here yet. Got it about 6 months ago, 1970 GMC K2500. Lots of improvements have happened already.

After a couple years of thinking about it, I finally jumped in and bought this truck a couple months ago. Intend to pull a small travel trailer with it.

Here's my truck. I posted a pic a while ago, but have since then it is now running. It's a 1969 K1500. It was my grandfather's truck. A little over 24,000 original miles. Been a lot of fun getting it back on the road after 20 years, and extra special because it was my grandfather's.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Pete - I can get a SPID pic. Anything in particular you'd like to know about the truck?

Nothing in particular Bill - it's an outstanding truck in a seldom seen color combo and well optioned. Any chance your family has vintage pics of the truck? When I bought my K1500 the widow of the original owner was kind enough to search for old pictures of the truck but was unsuccessful - would have been to neat to see.

Here you go Pete. The SPID, and also a pic of the order form from back in 1968 when the truck ordered and purchased. No vintage pics or anything, but the truck really doesn't look any different now than it did back in the day, with the exception of the hubcaps. I bought those and had the wheels painted.

Bill, that's priceless being your grandfathers and all. Great truck with some great documentation. Bet you wish you had that 50 GMC dump he traded too! Not everybody gets the chance at such a great truck, let alone the history with it. CONGRATS!!!!

My 72' just put new wheels and tires on it. And a pic of the wrecked one I saved from the clutches of doom.
