Hey Rick, you could always wire those under dash lights to their own switch. The very bottom of the dash where it angles towards the firewall is a pretty good place for switches. There may already be holes there that a toggle switch will fit into. Then you could turn them on whenever you want, without having to turn the dome light on. Just a thought...

I actually have my dome light hooked to a toggle switch that is right below the key switch, On the angled part of the dash. there was already a hole there and everything lol

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

My PO had a switch there too, along with some lights under the dash. Handy, but I took em out.

There you go. I'm gonna have you beat in my 72 with the 4 marker lights and cargo light. It had a dealer add-on spotlight but that was taken out before I got it. Going to probably weld up the holes....because a super nice or NOS spotlight is one thing I can't add to the budget right now :lol:

Okay, you win. I'll make you a deal. You pay for my new upper and lower moldings (I know you like people running stock trim-which I plan on doing) OR you can buy my new restored AM/FM....and I'll buy an NOS spotlight....DEAL?

;):lol::lol::lol:

Crazy when you start to think about it, isn't it?

I know people with rims more expensive than your truck's total cost and mine (to this point) together :uhmk:

67chevy1series 02-28-2011 02:21 AM

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

VA72C10 02-28-2011 02:23 AM

Re: slik ricks 67 short wide CST

A lot of people don't like the coys because they are "played out" but I still love them....they are very smooth and just "fit" our trucks perfectly!
