This is what they were [I][U]designed for .

No, I'll never freak out because I have a light duty truck to work not impress anyone else .

You even took the time to install side boards to protect the bed sides .

Saturday my goofball elder brother wanted me to load up an entire 6 cylinder Diesel Mercedes driveline and take it to where his old Mercedes is so they can swap engines, I told him we'd use his 1979 Dodge D200 heavy duty service bed truck (it has a 1/4" plate floor in the bed) and when it came time to load up he got pissed off because I said 'not going to use my tinfoil Danger Ranger because I don't want any dents in the bed, why I told you so LAST WEEK .

He won't allow me to fix the bad fuel tank vent in his old Dodge so it has paid registration but no tags as it cannot pass the smoke test .

I have no problem driving it anywhere, he's just being a PIS sibling .

Working with a nice truck isn't difficult but I try very hard to have nice things, he's really rough on every and anything, why I don't loan him my truck, cars or whatever and I make sure I bring any loaned tools home A.S.A.P. .

Another one of my ‘71. This time hauling just shy of 3 tons of anthracite. Total weight was around 11,400lbs.

It was a white knuckle ride down the interstate but it did a great job!

A pair of tires for a Massey Harris Pony. No calcium chloride in these! My brother sandblasted them and gave them a fresh coat of yellow.

A couple older pictures of my truck. Hauling a large tree that fell down at a neighbor of mine and they were an older couple that didn't have the means to clear it themselves.

Plus a picture of it pulling a 1948 Ford from the museum I volunteer at that had alternator issues.

Nice yard cart Tim. Here's a trailer. I wouldn't mind getting a lighter trailer. This one weighs 5500lbs with no chains in the box and nothing on the trailer. So truck and trailer is around 12,800lbs with me in it. I didn't weigh it with my GMC longhorn on the trailer.

The last pic is how I feel about GMT800s. :mm:

Built my deck this summer, the truck was a beast and hauled all my lumber without so much as a little complaint. Yup, those are 16 foot 2x12's

5' x 10'. I call it my wagon. Hauls 3500#, so about anything that fits. Pulling you forget it's there. Backing it's mighty "switchy". It takes a cord of firewood.

I used to have a real trailer

I can see that Scott. About the heaviest I have had on it was 2 ton of rock. It did a good job on that.

First load of stuff I have hauled in the new Dually. I had to dismantle three sets of wooden shelves at the Historical Society Library and take them home. Even that didn't bring it down much in the back.

Today's haul. What's on the ground was driven to my buddies house as logs, and driven home after being split.
