Here's mine again. It has been a year of great times in the 72. 2 weeks ago I had a slow leak in the right rear tire and had it repaired. The tire shop didn't torque the lug nuts and the tire came off "that was a ride". I had it towed home and now the fun begins.http://<a href="http://s1352.photobu...ps7194303f.jpg[/IMG]

The tire shop payed for all of it and said they will hook me up with new set of tires when I'm ready. I have the truck tore down and beginning to restore it. I hope to have it completed by April.

I know it doesn`t really help, but it could have been worse. Nice to see they are doing the right thing. Good luck with it.

Figured this was a good place to start. Picked up a 70 Burb a few weeks ago. Lots of useful info here! Working toward a LS swap early next year.

Thanks! This is when I picked it up. All the paint took was a wet sand and some rubbing compound to bring it back to life.

Here is a picture of the 1970 GMC Custom Deluxe I just bought. One owner, under 100K miles, 3 seat, ps, pb, and original paint.

Nice find and that is the way I like them, all original and not someones half finished dream. Was that a C'List, EBay or local classified find or a friend of a friend private deal, or none of the above?
