86 GMC Sierra Classic. AC, pwr windoww/locks, cruise.

350 4bbl, 3spd, 3.73 gears.

Picked her up for 1000, sold the cap for 150.

The bed was in great shape, I think the cap was on her for the life of the truck.

The box off, the running boards went next. The son loves the ol girl.

http://members.shaw.ca/leobrowne/ima...c/P1010067.JPG

Hit the neglected paint with some wax.

http://members.shaw.ca/leobrowne/ima...c/P1010038.JPG

Threw some 31x10.50s on her...

http://members.shaw.ca/leobrowne/ima...c/P1010074.JPG

Here is how she is presently.

http://members.shaw.ca/leobrowne/ima...c/P1010077.JPG

I'm converting the interior to Red/Black to match the exterior, instead of the red/burgundy. I plan on repainting her original colors the paint is old and she has a couple of rust spots along the bottom.

BTW: Some beautiful trucks on here!!! :metal:

The tires are 12-16.5, They were put on the truck in 1982. It came with the old tire sales slip still in the glove box.

Here is a picture of my dads 77. He sold it about two months ago after owning it for years. He used it to tow his Avion camper and for a fishing truck. He now has a 2010 Jeep.:sumo:

My 76 K20, traded my 90 K1500 straight up for this truck. 124,000 mi, 350 Th350 203 drivetrain, Less rust, but less flashy than the 90 was, but 73-87s had always been my favorites.

The top truck was my original pickup which I had for two years, then traded for the 76 which was honestly in better overall shape although you can't really tell from these pics
