and I know there's tens of viewers out there waiting to see more Electric Vehicle Conversion crap and I get it, so I've been doing a lot of behind the scenes work to get us there, boring stuff that I won't even share pics of, like cleaning, prepping, measuring, priming, and paiting my FIFTH spin stick

thank you pjmoreland for your continued help in my drive line collection quest, some day WE will own all of them

this may be the last of the thing ma jigs to get media blasted and blackatized before them doors go back on the rig

word on the street is since them silver rods didn't rust in the last 50 years they might could be coated with something and The Greg ought to should just leave them be and not media blast them and risk removing said magic pixie dust [but can he restrain himself ?]

thank you, what would you recommend we use to lube them up, I have tried garage door springs spray on my squarebody [ pronounced: "1973-1987" ] but that sorta runs and will eventually disappear, I also like to use white lightning grease as I call it on everything since I paid a million dollars for a tube of it a few years back [ I'm looking at you HATZIE, lol ]

these door regulators have me perplexed, do I just paint them black and put them back, or do I drill out these plastic rolly pollies so I can powder coat them pieces?

Re: My Dusty 71 GMCe Electruck

based on previous experiences I have had at my shop removing/blasting/paint or powder coating the regulators, DONT remove them, never seem the same are reinstallation.

as usual your work in clean and boarderline perfection, keep it up

put on a shirt, then let us know where to help fund the truck, shirts, hats, can coolers have always sold the best at my shop.

keep it up, electric truck not really my thing, but the craftmanship and attention to detail and thinking out side the box, keeps me coming back to check in

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words, and thank you for your service, I went to High School called El Camino, lol

however, as my dear friend an attorney and relator used to say "no one is starving at our house" I just hope to entertain and share some know how with peeps or at least my mistakes

and as far as classic cars I honestly believe shoving a real "motor" in them as in electric is a sure way to breathe some new life into them, check this link out:

some day I'll run out of things to media blast and powder coat and will actually have to finish the EV Conversion part

Fun Fact: these took one can of brake cleaner each in order to shoot out and spray out all the media blasting grit out of them that I managed to load 'em up with, but hey it was either that or rust, and let me tell you once they was cleaned up I could spin them spurs with one finger and they would free spin afterwards

man I really love how that raw metal steering column looks and am considering just clear coating it, it would give the murder truck some much needed contrast, let me know what a bad idea that is so I know I'm right, ha ha
