I loved straight gears before my surgery then I switched everything including my '97 Silverado over to an automatic. Then I got this truck and I remembered how much I enjoyed shifting and even though column shifters can be a pain, this one still works perfect and I always thought they were kinda kool. I should try to convert the column shift to a five speed on the column... NOT!:no:

Maybe they are catching Chevy trucks with those poles! Wonder what bait you would use??? Possibly a Ford hood ornament?

hey i am new to this form i have a 80 chevy short box. i am happy to be a member of this form it seems like there are lots of really help full members on hear. also lots of nice trucks.

Looks like a nice project. Keep us updated, and start a build thread for it in the projects and builds area. Would like to follow it's progress.
