It’s just sitting in the frame rails right now holding the trans up. Also have to bolt the converter to the flex plate along with about a million other things still left to do

Almost looks like it could have come from the factory that way, Keith. I had a buddy that raced stock cars and he once said he could work all week on a suspension piece and no one noticed. But if he hung a fender, everyone said it looked like he'd been kicking butt. This is one of those big milestones that tend to overshadow those "million other things". Keep plugging away!

Looking good Keith! I remember how it felt to get the motor in. You must be excited now! Keep it up, your little one will be ready for a ride in no time.

Thanks fellas, I haven’t been able to work on her since my last post  Hopefully this weekend I will have some time to set the angle of the motor and bolt the trans crossmember in permanently!

Any updates on this? I am curious as to how much lower you could go without the inner fenders.

Sorry, I don’t have any updates on the Burb. I recently had surgery to repair a torn bicep tendon in my right arm. It will be a few months before I can get back to work on the Burb. But to answer your question, I’m still running the factory crossmember and control arms so it won’t really any lower with the inner fenders removed. You would need at least tubular control arms or cupped lowers to take advantage of no inner fenders.
