Oh, nothing bad..... I guess I worded that a little rough, just finishing up other projects around the house and other vehicles.

Been working on this a little bit, nothing body wise though. My boss at the Streetrod shop I work at has been tediously banging out the dings and dents in all the trim to get it all ready for rechroming.

Picking back up......

I don't like the way the front cab is coming together. I cut that in three pieces, front half of the cab, left rear corner, and right rear corner. Having some door fitment issues and have decided to cut the front cab off and start over.

This time I will leave the front cab mostly intact to hold it's shape until it is fully mounted, then I'll cut out all the excess. I just haven't figured out how to get the new front cab from behind the truck to the front of the truck, tight quarters.....

No exciting pics as of yet, I did get the first cab cut off and have designed a jig to hold the new front cab in place and straight while everything Dodge gets bonded to it. I need to weld some casters to the front of the Dodge chassis so I can roll this project out to get the cab out from behind, should be a couple more weeks, or three.

I figured out what happened.... I changed the names of all the pics so the file names changed too. I don't remember what goes where. I am slowly updating the threads with the pics.

I'm actually in a healing process right now. I broke my pelvis, fractured my sacrum, and chipped my tailbone. :(

I work on big machinery.... I had a 500 lb. fork from a forklift fall about 8 ft. on my back and butt.

Re: Project: ALTER-K-TION ('57 GMC Quad Cab)

I'm hanging in there. Went back to work about three weeks ago but still have a lot of pain and can't lift anything. I figure I should be all healed up by Feb.
