OK guys listen up. I have edited my 1st post in announcing this meet as follows. July 17, 18, 19, 2009. It will be a 3 day meet but come when you can and leave when you need to. More changes to come as we get closer to the date but know this you won't leave disappointed. Stay tuned......

If I'm driving 1200+ miles to be there, I'm staying for all three days dammit!! :sumo:

Blazer/Jimmy owners, lets make this something to remember!!!

We have here the potential to make this Tenn. meet-n-greet a once in a life time event, mark your calendar, CHANGE your calendar...whatever it takes to be there, DO IT! :two:

The zoo crew is being gracious enough to allow us this invasion, lets take this opportunity and have one hella of great time with it!

Will I still be invited even if I don't drive a blazer, probably be driving my new Jeep Unlimited. I can't guarantee anything right this minute especially considering I might not have a job soon since layoffs are possible but if I have a job i'll definitely be there, guaranteed.

We don't care how you get here just use whatever you have. From walk, hitch hike,to fly in and we'll pick you up and get you back for your flight home. A yard full of old iron is great. But the reality is they are not real fuel efficient and don't leave much room for the wife and kids. So drive whatever will get you here safe and cheap.

And since I brought it up, Wife, kids, girlfriends, other family members, or just a friend are welcome. Come and enjoy a weekend with southern hospitality and spend time with the Tennessee Zoo Crew.

Yeah, it's looking good for sure. I hope that gas prices stay down and maybe we can get people back to work so the biggest problem we'll be facing is what to wear for the trip.
I did tell Naomi (my wife) tonight what was going on and gave her the choice of hanging here for the meet or going to visit one of her friends for a week. She said she would let me know. She'll be here, trust me. So keep beating the drum and spreading the word.....something is going on at Ron's place in July. Stop in and check it out.

It was a no brainer for me. I don't know how many active Blazer folks you have that stop by but you're right that is kinda a low number.

I see that Tim responded and can't come this year. It must
be the same weekend as one of his other shows. (Man has
got to eat and feed his family) So we might be Vendor less.

You can always detour by his shop on the way down or back.

I think he is off of 81? in Eastern TN (Between Knox & Bristol)
