Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Either that or they're both in the wrong place???? Pretty sure it's close enough though.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
 i think we are good. hows yours sitting? nice and level?
did you get your fuel system parts yet? i just ordered everything on Bob's list from summit just now. the quick disconnect at the motor is back ordered til 2-19. only thing i need now is the high psi hose... been looking for part #'s on the hoses in Bob's thread but i havent had any luck. ive read that dang thread atleast 6-7 times now! |
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Mines not in right now until I get the frame cleaned up more and painted. I have my 87 tanks, senders, pumps, F.I. high PSI clamps, high psi. switching valve. etc. Just need the hose. I am thinking about running metal line with hose just on the ends but havent decided yet.

Finally made some progress worth reporting today. Got the frame cleaned and painted and the engine/trans in for the final time. Actually looks really good in there. Damn cold outside but worth the effort. Man I cant wait to get my harness and ECU back. ;)

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Awesome! i can stare at those pics forever! looks sweet sitting in there man. nice job on cleaning everything up and painting... well worth the extra time spent:metal:
did you say your exhaust manifold on the pass side fits? or did you notch the frame? i need to send my harness out also. working on the fuel stuff now. cant wait either! |
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Looks killer man! That thing could not match any better in the truck. Very good work.
|
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Thanks for all the kind words fellas. Dennis, the manifolds fit just like Glocks. Just a very slight notch on the pass. side is all thats needed. Over all the fit is perfect. Getting very excited.
|
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
mine too... i havent touched(cut) the frame so far so i'm going to try the s&p's. i hope they clear the engine stand;)
|
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
So you're not going to run the truck manifolds? I guess I'd rather have the headers as well but may do that later as money permits. I'm just glad to have it in the frame for good now. I wont complain either way.
|
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
i'm never happy:lol:
i think the best choice for what im doing is going to be headers. i love how they look!:D |
Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
