My vote is for a bumper, always.

Ya Ronzo you might be right. It just look's not right with a bumper off. It will take some fab'n to get bracket's frome my frame to hang a bumber though.

This might not be a Gm truck.Though I already have it on a 1978 c20 chassis. Next up in the project line up. BtW it is a Ford 1941 COE.Grille is
a 1938.

Got this before it hit the dumpster or recycle. Period tool box could be a little extra storage in the bed.

So when I got the GMC it came with some wood possibly for the bed,It basically was a farm pack.I made it work though .This again is no resto. Started putting the bed wood in to stay.

In thinking it would be nice to access the Accuair and compressor's easy from the bed I made the floor to be like a cassette to slide out and back. The frt bed panel and tailgate I sprayed some color on to match better overall scheme.

Just read through the whole thread and I have to say this is one of my favourite trucks on the forum. The style and look of it is awesome, and in my opinion the 60-61 gmc hood is the best. Keep up the great work and be sure to do lots of updates:metal:

After week's of considering to put on a rear bumper or not .I have chosen to do so.A buddy of mine was at the Portland swap and scored a new 60-63 rear bumper for a song. Now to fab up some way to mount it.

I like that.

More importantly, the blue inside the bumper has me thinking...... I did paint the insides of both my bumpers in silver, but red may now become an option. That looks great.

Thanks. Even though the truck is to look like an old farm rig it's still got to have details being a hotrod.
