Here's a handful I ran across in my seemingly fruitless search for a factory coil sprung cablight truck

They are out there, like this one from back in February.

Some great finds JJorgensen, especially that white/black Custom Camper CST. Beautiful truck. I really like the white/gold 70 too. I know what you mean about trying to find one with cab lights! I was searching for a K20 with them, and on the rare occasion when I found one, it wasn't exactly the rest of the truck that I was looking for. Cab lights weren't a deal breaker though, so I bought a nice K20 without them and like it a lot. But I do understand. I've ALMOST come around to the idea of the yankee lights as add ons, but I doubt I'll ever do that on a 67-72 truck though, really prefer the factory padded roof. I'd definitely put Yankees on the right 60-66 though(!) Good luck in your search, you're finding some beauties along the way though.

Ha, I remember this one Tim. Tried and tried to chat with the cranky little old lady selling it, but she was quite the firecracker. Wonder if it ever got sold... It was pretty nice as I recall.

You did better than me Mark, I called a half dozen times and all I could do was leave messages, she never answered.

That's a nice looking truck! Though, I thought all Custom Campers came with leaf springs? Maybe my lore is confused.

No, 67-69 C10 and 67-72 C20 Custom Camper emblems were offered with either the coil or leaf rear suspensions.

Why coils? I happen to have one.

Personal preference, really. I'm not using the truck for a camper, or any real heavy hauling, and I like the way the coils ride. Not looking for a custom camper in particular, that's just the truck that came up for discussion.

Unexpectedly, I prefer the ride in my leaf trucks to couk trucks I've had. Not rough, stable.

Hopefully you don't need the entire passenger side A-pillar.
