I liked the green also but it was time to go. The truck is so far from stock now the interior needed a make over. I am not going so far away from stock just a new twist on stock. I am trying to make my interior top notch. I would like it to be show quality but I don't think it will be at that point. But as long as I am happy that all that matters. O and my wife is happy lol.

So I am 98% sure I found the fix for my washer jug rubbing without moving it and drilling hole. I bough one for a 70's model Chevelle it bolts in exactly like the stock one but it has a slant made into it so it will clear the wheel. I will know for sure tomorrow!!

New shock for testing showed up today. Probably pulling the boot off I don't drive in rain or off road so I don't see any point of leaving it on. These babies are nice.

Thank you a little old style with new style. I think it is better than just plain black or the brushed aluminum covers.

I had the dash overlay and door inserts dipped as well, I went with a satin finish trying to keep it somewhat close to stock appearing. If I was to do it again I would go with the high gloss.

Who needs a washer tank when you don't use wipers?

Old vs New

That should just be enough so it won't rub anymore.

So I took my truck to the hot rod shop my buddy owns who did my trans install and exhaust. Well he calls me and says your upper control arm shim bolts are not long enough. Ok replace them. Then he calls me telling me they are having issue with bolts and they won't get it done for me this week. WTF they don't work on Fridays. So he sends me a pic of the one side they did get finished. And I was like WTF did they make custom shim plates for. Damn I just want a alignment I don't need a custom alignment. I told him I wasn't trying to spend a damn arm and a leg for a alignment. He is always wanting to make something all the time lol. But I know they are doing it right but at my cost. I don't like other people working on my stuff is part of the problem. Plus I want my truck back!! So below is the pic.

So much for those control arms being an inch narrow!

They still are. That won't change. He said i am going to have to run some negative camber because of how low I am. He said some of that will be coming out. He had to do that just to get to Zero camber lol.

And I know you are joking also!

Re: 1976 Square "Simple Green"

You're lucky you have an alignment guy that cares.
Most shops would have said it can't be aligned and sent you on your way.
And there are many truck owners that just drive them without the getting an alignment.
I see it all the time on here.
Throw on a 3/5 spring drop,... Done.
There's so much more to doing a suspension drop to make them ride and drive good.

Congrats on finding a shop that cares,...
