Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
Here are some pics of my '79 I bought before July 4th. I think I want to take it all the way to the frame and go through everything instead of picking up where the PO left off.

too bad 17 is as big as they go.... |
Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds
i was looking for bigger ones too but hadnt found them bigger then 18 inch either
there steel wheels that are 20 inch they use them as sparetire for a pickuptruck you might be able to weld a 20 inch hoop from those wheels ontoo a centre like the one shown the man who told me was planning on welding a truckwheelcentre in them for use on a dually pickup |

Here is a pic of my '87 and how it sits right now. I have future plans for a 3.5/5 drop and 18" Boss 338's. I am also upgrading the front brakes to the HD brakes and putting a '96 30 spline rearend w/ an Eaton Locker and 3.42's to aid in towing the boat.

Sweet looking truck, and welcome to the boards. Do some looking in the 73-87 area about your proposed wheels. Some guys have had problems with them fitting right.

On the hub in the front I presume? I have actually already encountered that, but I think I can modify and overcome :)
