the last owner use to work at that store, he will drive it to work maybe once a week. at that moment i had a 68 shortbed so we started talking, i ask him probably 10 times about selling it and other people too. one day went over for parts he said he need it money and if i want to buy it so there was the opportunity, i went home sold a 95 truck i had and bought it. he got it from the original owner, is all stock has 6 inline 4spd manual, came without rear seat everything works even radio, some rust in driver side but rockerpanel but thats it, top is in good condition, i like my 95 but i had to buy it! heres a picture of the 95!

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
I started breaking through my paint last night. The truck had a decent 20 ft paint job on it. I bought it with the intent of doing a patina look.
Lots of aircraft stripper and sanding in my future. http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/...le/photo10.jpg http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/...le/photo11.jpg http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/...ele/photo8.jpg http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/...ele/photo4.jpg |

I love this thread.
I think that a truck should look like a "Truck"...they are meant to be used, and they have earned every ding and dent. It takes a truck a long time to develop a cool look...so awesome! Here's mine... Chris |

My plan is to fix the major dents and rust and replace the molding. Get some matcing paint from home depotAttachment 1031826 and paint the repaired areas then rough them up to match.
