Put my new tires and wheels on today. 255/60/15 up front and 275/60/15 on the rear mounted on 8" rims. I need to take one when the sun is in the right place. :waah:

Thanks. I ended up painting it black. I might be at the Stockton swap meet July 12th. Still up in the air about that one.

Can't believe I drove to LA and back with this dist cap and didn't break down. I swapped out the dist and fine tuned the carb and now it has better response then before and I can tell the difference in the giddy up and go. :metal:

Man-o-man that is one sweet set-up. ;)

I may have missed it but where did you get your radiator. I'm in need for my 1964 Stepside.
Thanks:chevy:

E Bay. It is just a 3 row Champion. I since replaced that one with a 4 Row. More capacity for the BB.

I got one from E-bay but a Worley Auto. It was way too big and they didn't have one to fit. I'll look at Champion and locally. I have a 350 SBC and a 700R4 on the hook ready to install.

I had to redo the brackets for the 4 row. For the 3 row I just had to find thinner rubber to fit the tanks.

2 1/2 Or 3 in drop spindles and 4" springs in the rear. When I ordered the spindles they said they were 2 1/2".

I got the frame mounts at www.truckandcarshop.com I think they are $139 now. http://www.truckandcarshop.com/trucks60_72/t60_121.html Bottom of the page $129. You do have to trim the upper frame about 1/2",

I gotta get over to walmart for one of those diecast C10's.

Your truck looks tuff with the hubcaps and white letter tires.:c2:

I picked up this 327 a few months ago. Upon further review, we found fuel injection pistons which are 11:1. Don't think I should be using this in a street truck.

What casting number heads were on it? If you run a 70-76cc chamber head it should run fine on pump gas. The cam choice is a factor as well on cylinder pressure and ignition is important as to what fuel can be burned

Re: Big Block Build is what I'm calling mine. New pics inside

Not sure about the CC's on the heads. I know they are 2.02 intake Double hump heads. The cam has a 454 lift and If I remember right a 268 Duration.

Re: Big Block Build is what I'm calling mine. New pics inside

The 461, 462 and 290 casting 'double hump' heads have 62-64cc chambers. Those along with that small cam, I doubt you could run straight 91/92 pump gas.
