OMG, I love your valve covers! What's just beneath your valve covers? looks like spacers?
and the air cleaner is neat also! I have a cheap looking chrome air cleaner~:( the little devil on my shoulder is messing with me!;)

Without boring down into the build to find a pics of the heads looks like adaptors for later center stud heads to use old style valve covers to fool the uninformed (LT1, no way look at the valve covers...). I looked at those covers for mine but price put me off. Now if Gary would adopt me.....

Thanks! therye gm performance covers got them from summit racing, air cleaner is a knock off of k&n got it on ebay.

Correct! engine is a 98 vortec crate engine and my friend gave me adapters intake carb gaskets bolts etc when I purchased it from him.

Another productive weekend,

Sprayed the transmission with some orion silver and added extra flakes eventhough it will never be seen

Now that the panhard bar was tacked in place i was able to take it all apart and set frame on rotisserie to finish up the botom side.

Didnt have $600 to spend on powder coating frame so stripped it epoxied it and will spray it tomorrow with ppg matte finish.

Thanks, cleaned up well alot of work but was able to pull it off under a week hitting it everyday. Plan is to have it all back on the ground by sunday.

Thanks! yeah some sun helps it was 35 degrees in the morning but it finally warmed up enough to get this done.

Thanks! Wheels change it all im also gonna run wide whites to change it up but most people will "stereo type" because of the wires. Lol all good
