today i woke up to work on crooked and on my way to my dad shop this happened im okay and lucky to be here says the CHP officer but here is whats left so now i lost my daily =/
i got hit my a big rig that merged into my lane and did not see me. my car is gone and i feel horrible about it because my grandma bought it brand new from the dealer in 1979. right when i got out my car i was pissed about the car more than my scratchs on me |
Re: My 68 c10

if you look you can see where he first hit me with the front wheels on the front fender than my car got pulled into the rear tire- look at driver side door and quarter panel |
Re: My 68 c10
my new daily is now my brother 76 c10 but the nova will live on forever =/
|
Re: My 68 c10
Glad you made it through the accident... could have been much worse.
|
Re: My 68 c10
Wow! Sorry to hear that, glad your ok!
|
Re: My 68 c10
wow, glad you came out okay...could've been worse getting pulled into the rig like that. Maybe with the insurance you can get a new dd and have more money for your project?
|
Re: My 68 c10
glad you are ok...worse part is that the insurance wont pay what the car was worth..

and after i was done with my truck i wanted to make it nice so i could show my family i took care of it but i cant no more =/ |
Re: My 68 c10
Wow that Nova took a beating. Had it been a newer mid-sized car you probably would have been seriously injured or worse.
|
Re: My 68 c10
wow your lucky! I know how ya feel TRUST me. Better excuse to get the 68 on the road!!! Are you gonna get a big insurance check for it? im asuming the total it..
|
Re: My 68 c10
yeah i know im lucky everyone tells me i was lucky to walk out with only scratchs from the glass. i've always been a great driver and people like the truck driver because he had no symphony for what happened to me. I am lucky very.
|
Re: My 68 c10
WOw...glad you're OK, thats the most important thing. The car...while its terrible for anything to happen to any car/truck much less one with history...I think maybe you could rebuild it? If not for the road...maybe as a race car?
|
Re: My 68 c10
so whose fault was it?

My wife and I are sooo thankful our baby was not injured or .. Yes that Nova has been part of the family since it was new. Losing the car I can deal with. Losing any of my children, I would lose it. |
Re: My 68 c10
i told all my friends that know of what happened, that the big rig driver would of been in lots of pain if it was my truck because thiers no way i would let that slide. lol
