It was pretty straight to start with but lots of cancer in the running and floor boards. They needed to be cut out and replaced. Still two-tone but very different looking now!

Looks great as always Dave. Have you ever tried putting the original wheels on since you got the truck finished. I think white steelies would look soooo sweet on that truck!

I like it the way it is but...I think it would look great with the steelies.

I have NOS caps and a set of wheels and new tires, but need to get the wheels painted or powder coated. Which means getting them dismounted, sand blasted, painted/coated, remounted, installed, etc... just a lot of steps.

I do plan to show it with the original wheels, if I ever do show it.

Make sure to post some pics of it:metal:.

I've said it before but, I just love that blue on your truck. I was on the fence between it and the medium olive green I eventually chose. Maybe one day I could have a blue one too....$$$$$$

Hard to remember, I have gone through so many parts changes....

I think the rear is 6 (5" springs with 1" blocks). In that picture I think it had 3" springs with 2" spindles. I was hitting the fender hard on bumpy turns so I've since switched the front springs to 2" hotchkis and don't have any problems.

I found out that the 2" springs are as low as I can go with factory control arms and still get a correct alignment. They would not have been able to do it with the 3" springs.
