Here is how mine sits, I'm satisfied for now, but that could change any minute.

66Gregg, That's perfect. I've got 2 1/2" spindles and 1" coils up front and 5" in the back but it's still torn apart. Great to see I'm on the right track. Thanks.

66 w/87 cross member cpp springs. 2 in front springs, 3/4 of a ring removed. 4 inch rear. ride/ drives great. tuned 4.8 vortec runs even better.

Great looking truck! That is the stance and look I am going for for my 63 short box. Looking to get some wide steel wheels and use the factory white dog dish hubcaps...simple but just enough to know it's not stock.

Your set up is what I was thinking of doing or something like 1 1/2 cut coil in the front and a 4 inch in the back. (Yours looks perfect by the way)! But my question is.. Did you do any c notching or use any shorter shocks or shock relocators when you did yours?

Re: Post Pics of your Static Drops!!

Ive got an '84 front crossmember under mine with stock springs and factory springs in the rear. How big of a block can I add to the rear without worryin about the axle hitting the frame? Id kinda like to keep the stock spring rating. I have a set off stock Jeep coils off my Jeep but I heard they wont hold much if you haul anything. Also, what would be a cheap and quick way to lower the front just a couple inches? I thought about cutting the springs in the rear, but how do you remount them since the part that attaches to the mount would be gone?

Same question here, those of you with 5" springs in the back, are you OK without a v-notch or anything? Want as low as possible without the extra work...
