Thanks

pretty sure the firewall piece you got was out of a 62/3 gmc,and the trans.cover was a 65 chev, most of the high hump trans covers I have found are bolt in, and it seems like almost all the 4-5-6 low humps are welded in.

So if I wanted to find a high hump floor, what year & model would I look for?
Thanks in advance

60-66 chev or gmc 10-30 series with a 4 speed.
* some 20 series 3 speed on the column had a high hump, and the gmc with a hydro auto should have them.

Sure thing. I had to install the speakers first then put the seat over them. Also the fat mat made a big difference on inside cab sound deadening.

Gorgeous truck, props, nice work.

Was just going through your thread, I can't view the videos on the stereo. Do you have any other speakers, other than the TSX-200's? Sub? Happy with the sound?

Awesome truck Jesse. I really can appreciate you doing that kind of work out of your garage, paint and all. The main thing I keep saying to myself is the clean work you do. How did you mount the bamboo? I don't see screws or anything. Also are you a mechanic or bodyman? Not many of us can just pick up skills like that as a shade tree mechanic.

Man I'm sure the Dr can prescribe something for you. You got to be reallysick sick to let that go. But I'm sure the next one will be even better because you learn from each experience. It's about blessing someone else with your gift. I sure you enjoyed your time with it.

Nice truck man, hey would you be willing to share that paint code.

DRTYRAT30 09-10-2012 09:26 PM

Re: Simple Green

It was a custom mix by me. White PCL 2K sealer with omni base toners of yellow, blue & black. Little here little there so no actual paint code. I saved a spare 3qt for any touch up...

Re: Simple Green

Do you have the code on the the toners, I thinking the toners are PPG omni base.

Re: Simple Green

No, they just poured some out into unmarked pint cans.
