I would say your definition of FUBAR and mine are different. From what I see you did fantastic work.

Just the hood is fubared. I think someone sat on the back of it when it was off. On top of having multiple dents, it has a really flat spot in it. Ill try to fix it, but i dont have alot of confidence i can fix it.

Now that makes sense. I can see some of what you were talking about on a closer look in the picture.

Despite the things you still need to fix, I am really pleased for you the way this has turned out.

You are going to be a very happy guy driving a modern that looks like it was a barn find.

Well done !!

Weekly update!! Spent the weekend tieing up loose ends on the outside of the burb. My biggest job was to cut out and reweld the roof joint. What an emasculating endeavor! That was the hardest thing ive ever welded. I had to cut this thing twice due to oil canning the roof. Oh well, its done...

Not much to report this weekend. All i did was weld the floor and firewall. I also stripped the paint from the inside of the two front doors. Man, that factory paint is really stuck on there. Aircraft stripper barely touched it!

Been super busy lately on the burb, but its a bunch of small jobs in prep for painting the interior. Sanding, seam seal, etc...

I also got the engine compartment cleaned up and painted. I was shocked how well the motor turned out!
