I will look tomorrow but I do not think so. I am pretty sure I should have split my head open on it if it were under the running boards and I dont remember any blood so far. lol

Re: 66' c60 Parts for sale

I guess it is actually behind the running board on passenger side

I forgot to take my camera today but the only thing underneath is the vac, booster with master cylinder under where the driver running board was. The only thing on the passenger side is the fuel filter that is pictured just above. You can just see the bottom of it in that picture

I want to make sure this is correct before I go pulling it and getting costs. The 1st 2 sections come up to about 56" (depending on what you hook to) so there would be two hanger bearings still attached to the shaft. Let me know if the picture looks correct to you.

Fenders still for sale? From looking at thread they did not sell. Someone mentioned they will not fit a 61 C60, I think that info is wrong. I am interested in fenders and running boards.

I do still have all of that. As for what else they fit, you will have to determine that. I am not very familiar with this year truck. I am on the eastern shore of MD in Salisbury.

thanks

I would need to go take a look at it. It has been a while. I am pretty sure they are drum though. The hood is rotten , I do know that much. May take me a few days on the springs and all. Been real busy at work

Actually between the weather and my workload I just got back over to it today. Here are some pics of everything minus the wheel bearings and nut. I have to keep it rolling for now. The shoes actually look new. The only thing that looks rough out of all of it is the brake hoses. I cut the old ones so the end of them are still in the cylinders. I will need you to PM your address and let me know if you do or dont want the shoes so i can figure up weight and box size for the shipping costs

The truck is now mostly gone. The scrap man is finishing cutting it up in the morning.
Only things I have still available are the fenders, running boards, passenger door and some other odds and ends listed in the ad already. Have not heard anything back from 63GMC yet on the brake parts so they are still available as well

Hey Richard sorry I didn't get back to you sooner I checked out the pictures and actually as soon as I looked I realized it's not the same I'm not sure what brake set up I have but it's it's not the same mine only has two wheel cylinders two Springs to break pads nothing else. But thank you for pulling those parts out and I hope you have luck selling them.

No worries, that's why I included a picture of it still installed. It is hard to envision something while laying in parts on a table. If I understand you correctly yours has 2 wheel cylinders on each side. I would imagine there are several different brake combo's on the big trucks.

Yeah it's very odd everything I look at is lighter duty and yes it has two wheel cylinders on each front wheel, One for each pad never seen anything like it
