Progress sooner than I thought it would be.

I was feeling like I could do something when we got in from church so we switched out the drivers side rims and tires and aired up the passenger side tires on the parts truck. It is now a roller. My wife came out helped me.

I had six months to get the parts truck out of the yard and since I'm on rheumatoid arthritis drugs she gave me an extra three months for a total of nine months.

Now with it being a roller I can get it in the shop, out of the yard and out of sight. The pressure is off.:metal:Attachment 1981410

Check out that passenger side rocker and cab corner. I'm going to cut them off and see if I can reuse them on my project.

For a parts truck there looks like it has quite a few good parts . Those rear fenders look in good shape . Eventually the Crome around the fron screen seems to be complete. Glad your arthritis is easing up and you can start working on it again .

For an update I'll share that not any real work has been done on the 62. I did pick up a torch set up and a plasma cutter and have not fired either of them up yet.

I'm now on a drug program that has really worked out as far as treating the rheumitoid arthritis.
Now I'm tapering off the tremadal and predizone which means that since I was taking so much for so long that now I have to deal with the effects of cutting back.

All that is to say why not much shop work gets done.

Hope to get going some time real soon though and even post some pictures.

Hope your coming off is successful Vince.

It can be a real bugger.

Soon you will be back on it.

Hey man, thanks. like is said once I got to where I felt good they started cutting back on the drugs so now I'm dealing with the effects of that as well as the continued fatigue so like I say, "The road goes on forever and the party never ends"

I keep up with your goings on here and Garage Journal and Face Book too.

You are really getting your place fixed up on many levels and now painting too!!! Wow!!

Your Boot Fair reports are always enjoyable.

Almost four years since I updated my thread and I can't tell you where the time went. Health issues have been beating me down pretty bad.

Got a pace maker last June and things are looking better on the blood pressure and have not passed out once since then.

The rheumatoid arthritis is still trying to keep me side lined. Now I've got a knee that may need replaced.

I've been doing some things, little things in the shop and hope to do more and even do some truck stuff soon.
I almost gave up and got rid of everything and decided to just do what I can when I can.

The main thing or only truck thing I've done is move stuff and inventory some truck parts. There are a lot of truck parts in the shop!

Anyway that's it for now, hopefully more soon with some pictures. I've forgotten how to post them and will have to figure that out again.
