Well ........ I'm sure the purchaser was happy with what he got - I would have been!!

Nice two-tone also. That brown is the color of my 78 steppy all over.

I'm gathering ideas & parts now ...... my 78 was bought from a nice old lady thats husband had passed 6 yrs. prior. It only has 89K miles & has been garaged since new. The glass is sooooo clear I can't stand it. I feel as if I'm in a fish bowl. It looks like the vent windows were never opened - no wind noise. It has late model add-on air & rides & drives super. I only need to add a lowering kit & a bigger set of skins.
As soon as my boy resizes pix I'll post them.
It also has a "classic" like new plaid tan interior.

Here is my truck. '87 with DJM upper and lower (3") controls arms, 2" drop springs, 355 with nice cam, modified TBI, 700r4, 15" Torq Thrusts, 235-70-15 fronts, 275-60-15 backs.

She runs pretty good. Next I'm going through the rear end (gears and a posi unit) and then she should almost fly!

I would love to know your thoughts on my truck!

I want more specs on your tbi motor. heads, cam, intake, throttle body, fuel pressure.. etc etc etc... my 89 is highly modded. I love to see what others have done with these "junk" injection systems lol

Your truck is awsome, doesnt need much more in my opinion

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Short Beds

it has a comp cam 256 dual pattern flat tappet, hand ported heads by a head guru (i couldnt begin to tell you what he did) roller rocker and timing chain, and the 2" throttle bore tbi. i have a holley tbi, just need to rebuild it. i have a tbi spacer that was hand ported from 11/16" to 2" to help with the larger throttle bore.

yes, your right....worst flowing motor gm ever made. but with a little tweaking they go pretty good.
