I'm told Vintage Air is 8 weeks back ordered on complete AC/HTR kits for a '57 stepper... anyone have any other options... Looked at Brothers, doubtful it will fit the biill.

restomod has some real nice units and better options than vintage air... yet I went with vintage air because I got a better deal on it

Thanks... I'll check them out. I'm ok with 8 weeks (Feb '21) with the amount of work still needing to be done... hoping for a Spring roll out.

Going with Vintage Air Surefit with custom controls since we're keeping the dash smooth. The plan is to build a console for Radio / Media Player, A/C controls, USB power, cup holders and shifter (auto). Looking at vents in the corners of the dash (if I like the look) or maybe along a runner under the dash. Getting ready for paint soon.

I haven't been able to get by the shop in the last few weeks but I'll try and get by there next week and get some pics;

I know they were getting ready to mate the 4L65 / 5.3l (2008) / Fi-Tech combo soon. That and brake lines / fuel lines.. we'll see.

Looking good! What is you plans for your latches? I grafted them into my original door panels to keep the look.

Not sure if the shop has any special plans beyond nice door panels, wx stripping and paint to finish off the inside. It should be about ready for paint this or next week. Shop doing some internal updates to booth, kinda stagnate right now but hopeful it will start moving soon.
