I've been having trouble with my truck blowing fuses during start up, and the other day it would not start at all so I had to short it acrosss the terminals to get it to start. So I picked this up today, another early Christmas gift!

Got my new starter on today. It was quite an ordeal, but I got it on and running, still needs a shim or two. I think my flexplate is bent and theres a few teeth that are burred up. I'll work on that later, but at least it starts again.

I talked to Nate on the phone this evening, he cleared up a few questions that I had on the rear dropmember.....now it's up to me to decide! I think I'm gonna go with weld in version instead of the bolt in, it's a little cheaper and I'm guessing alot cleaner looking, but the bolt in kit does have its advantages.

These are the only pics I have of my dash. I didn't take any pics while I was doing it, only after it was done. The fist one is after the fiberglass, I just painted it black to see how it would look one colour. You can see how rough it looks before the bondo.

Question I plan on bagging the front of my truck here soon , I have the same bags as you and the eBay plates. How do you have your airlines run in the front. (as in were they go into the bag)

Re: My 86 build

I drilled a 1" hole on the back side of the spring pocket which the air line goes though, ( I have a 1ft piece of fuel line hose over the air line to protect the air line from wear) to a 90* push to connect fitting. The air lines are run up to my rad support to a tee.
