I buy them at Atwoods 2" wide axle straps. We can cover them with towels to secure the chassis when your ready to bring it home.

There is alot of forward movement on the Cab today... The panels that needed repaired under the dash are completed... The Cab Divider Studs have been put on...the small pin holes around the windows have been welded up... Both Left and right doors have had the rust repaired so really basically the cab is done and ready for primer... The hood still needs to be fixed...Here are the pics...

Your build with it's great story is one of my new favorites! My C 20 will remain a work truck but at times I want to do what you have done. That steering wheel is a class act, putting all aftermarket customs to shame...Clean class all the way, Dan.:chevy:

Re: Project "Class Act"

The rest of the Cab Modifications have been completed as well as the inside Tailgate release... Cab has been mated back with the chassis and bed... they still need to weld the Antenna hole on the cowl panel and reinstall it... The damage on the hood has been repaired and back in primer... All of this should be installed and aligned by Monday... Hopefully I can get it home by Wednesday so I can start playing with it...

Wow your guys are cruising on this. I like the color contrast with your frame and suspension. I'm sure in missed it along the way but what color are you painting the body?

Hey Scott... thanks... The main Body color will be the light blue that the frame is painted and it will be Two Toned like the factory with white on the roof and below the moldings... I can't wait to get it home so I can "play" with it... LOL

Great build, what kind of trailing arms did you use? Is the entire suspension ECE?

Thanks

The Trailing Arms, Springs, Shocks, Rear Shock Relocators, and Panhard Bar are ECE... The Front and Rear Disc Brakes, Drop Spindles, Front Swaybar, are CPP

Thanks

Thanks Tommy... it is all starting to slowly come together... Once it gets back here to the house alot of the work will come to a halt while I rebuilt the ole cash supply... This ran me about 2500.00 more than budget... I should have just bought a Miller Welder and done it myself...
