Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Hello captainfab. Do you have the flat plate so that I sandwich between the current brake booster and firewall? If I would rather keep my current brake booster bracket as I have Running, driving truck. My booster bracket is totally different Than the one you sent. Thanks in advance, clark.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Did you tell me that you wanted just the base plate with no booster mounts? Does your current booster not bolt up to my booster bracket? Do you want to return the booster bracket? How long ago did you order? What is your name?

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Hello captainfab. I requested the flat piece. My name is Derrick Clark. Look at post #176 and #178. I didn’t say base plate. I used the wrong terminology. Excuse for me that. I am willing to pay for it. I want what’s easier for me. Send me an invoice. Thanks in advance , clark.

Hello 67-72 board members. I wanna take this to commend captainfab for his craftsmanship of the brake booster bracket with hydraulic clutch kit. He’s very knowledgeable of his product. Me being a novice, truck builder I thought I needed a flat clutch bracket. I didn’t take the time necessary to look at the kit and components. I was stuck at my own way of installing the kit. The I bought this kit from captainfab and it is awesome. It works as stated if you follow the directions. It even has pictures. At my request he sent the flat bracket, which I will stay in a box, unused. Captainfab thanks

Thanks for the kind words and the installed pic. So it looks like you did not really need the flat plate after all?

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Can you set me up with an uncoated manual brake setup? And do you have clutch slaves available as well? Or recommendations on which one to go with? 70 C10 SBC with a TEX T101 (T10 based).

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
PM sent. No I do not do anything with clutch slave cylinders. I supply the proper clutch master for the slave cylinder/hydraulic release bearing being used.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Due to an increase in the cost of having my parts laser cut, I have been forced to raise my prices. I'm not making any more money, just trying to stay in business with these increases in my costs. Thanks for understanding.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Yes I did and I just sent you a reply. Sorry but with the high number of orders I have on a continuous basis, I just can not be here on this forum everyday like I used to for many years. For a faster reply please send me an email to captainfab454@hotmail.com as stated in post #1.

Hey capt. Received my kit today. Fast shipping. Thanks.
I received a different interior mount than I have seen in the pictures. Just wanted to make sure it’s correct… I will work on my mock up this week and post some new pictures if so. Thanks again |
Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Yes I do send the correct parts as needed for the kit you requested. Some of the installation pics are from 10+ years ago of a previous design. With working 80hrs/7 days a week every week every month, I simply do not have time to completely mock up another installation to take a bunch of pics. I wish I had the time to write up proper installation instructions for all 26 of my products, but I do not.

Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
I am interested in a flat plate kit as I already have your booster bracket. What would be the cost for that?
Thanks |
Re: '67-'72 Power Brake Booster Bracket With Hydraulic Clutch Conversion
Deleting the booster mounts reduces the cost by $25.00. So without any clutch master upgrades, you are looking at $225.00 plus $22.65 for shipping.

Captainfab, I'm interested in one of these kits for my truck. I have a 1969, but have converted it to power disc brakes. I measured the booster last night and it appears to be about 10.75-11" in diameter. I've also attached a few pictures for reference. Will your kit work? Do you need me to check anything else to verify fitment?

This is how mine turned out. Had to cut off those pretty parts.
I asked if he wanted picture but he said he knew all about these trucks. It worked out in the end this was a 69 C30. Ken |
