Cool man I will check it out. Thanks for posting. I'm constantly looking. I admit some may not meet my criteria straight up, but when you start looking for builds that really go outside the norm you find that it aint cheap, but still I feel that there are tons of builds on here that really are right there on the edge of being affordable. I feel if the guy/gal is building it with his own two hands and doing his thing that's really what matters. I can't imagine some of the level of fabrication these fellas have. I am constantly inspired to see more and do more. Then even the builds that are just really about getting the truck running and going are often times cooler, than the big builds. Honestly as long as it is about having fun I'm in. Thanks again to all who look and listen.

I can't remember if I posted this bad boy or not. Been so many. Funny how I can remember seeing this truck when it was first posted but I don't know if I posted it up or not. Anyhow it's another cool Squarebody by bnoon. It's a cool truck no doubt and in progress as we speak. So what are you waiting for? You can digest the Christmas Ham while you read!

Re: Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

Thanks for checking in. I can't wait for updates. This thread is important to me. Honestly there are a lot of builds on here that would qualify for low budget or low buck. I feel it is important to give not only the veterans of the site a chance to see what's there but also the new guy. The guy or gal wanting to put together a cool truck for fun. I know we don't all have mega budgets and that's ok. There's lots of ways to do and have fun with our trucks for reasonably cheap. Nothing is cheap any more but still you can do it with a little elbow grease, planning and being smart.

For the New Year I hope to see this thread grow even more. I'd like to see more users actively contributing. I'd also like to see more input from readers and users. My biggest hopes is to be able to add my build to this list once I get started. All I hope is that the New Year brings tons of joy to the site and it's members.!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I've been slow on the go getting anything posted in here lately, but I promise there are tons of threads to be posted. Please by all means post up your threads if you haven't and if you've been busy with an existing thread post an update here. So many of these threads are active right now. So take the time to check on them and see what's going on. You'd be surprised.

Great, thanks a lot Rusty, this is such a great thread now I will never finish my truck as I plan on following and reading every build, they are all that good!!!

Well go ahead blame me......I'll take it. Keep reading and you'll be inspired to finish. Thanks for checking it out!

Re: Low Buck Build Threads Help or LBBTH

I won't say this build is low buck but man if you are ever down about your build check this thing out. It's a 60-66 suburban and it is totally getting torn apart. You'll freak out on it. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=655167

The reason why I'm posting this up is that the work is exceptional and it's a big in progress project. Also you get to see how to fix some of your stuff as well. Call it inspiration. So many guys bite into a project and never finish. This is one build I hope to see done. So if you got a little time to kill check it out. The build is by 65sub.

So I'm going to add this one. It is special to me. Actually it is my '76 pick it up and I hope you guys will follow along for the ride. It's going to be a slow ride. I'll have new updates when I can and do stuff to the actual truck, lol. It'll be a pretty low budget but within reason build. It'll be borderline but fun none the less. So why you still here? Go check it out.
