my parents had a house fire late '70's, so only have a very few photos from before that...which was too bad, my dad had quite a slew of 60's and '70's chev trucks before he went to the dark side and started buying ferds

1987 GMC V2500. First pic is from local classifies in the news paper roughly 1993. Second pic is around 2016/2017. attachment 2: 1987 V3500 (1 ton!!!) first pic is a blurry photo from when I got it 2016. Second pic of it white/utility bed was late 1990's when owned my Spiegel's transport, scrap, waste management company in Brockton Mass. |

The Davison Twp fire chief lived on the same street as my family growing up (so did they mayor; our street was the first one to be plowed after a snowstorm!). We had a 69 GMC short bed 2wd stepside, in Hugger Orange. When the chief saw that truck he liked it so well that they ordered a similar truck (only 4wd, and long wheel base stepper) as their brush fire truck. I wish I could find that one (or our 69, for that matter). K |
