Awesome build.
How are you attaching the lower body molding?

Using oem style hardware you drill holes for. The drilling sucks but it's the tightest fit.

Sure hope I didn't just ruin my smooth firewall with the at lines showing. I felt like the firewall needed balance. Going to ignore it for now and keep working.

I think it looks good gives it balance like you said.

Dakota digital climate control fitted in aluminum into stock bezel. I think it may just work.

For the time it takes to get a tight fit on everything it's almost worth buying a new bezel.

Interior panels going on and shifter installed and adjusted. Mounting computers, relays and trying to gather my thoughts about this wiring nightmare.

Did you have any trouble with your TMI door panels fitting around the window cranks or lock knob

No. And I paid an additional $100 for them to NOT drill for locks. Got suckered there. I did have issues with the bottom template. Would have fit perfect if it didn't have thick double sided tape up top raising the distance to the lower clip holes. Oh well it works.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Yeah on mine the lever for opening the door wouldn't go on far enough because door panels were to thick and lock knob holes had to be modified so knob would fit. I didn't use the lower template for the reason you explained. Yours looks very nice by the way

More interior going together. Vintage air is all finished up under the dash. Carpet needs minor adjustments but really liking the the feel of everything. Oh and started putting the front end together.

Got the last of the parts cut and buffed. Installed last piece of trim and emblems. Still waiting on my back order grill and other parts so just doing what I can for now.

I'm really trying hard but I will be the first to admit far from perfect.

Everyone who has looked at it in person have been blown away by the color combination. Guess I did something right

Thanks to the help of my son I got the ac condenser mounted and starting to figure out air lines. Probably going to do some custom lines since I don't have battery box under hood for the hard lines.

Have fun with that. I'm doing that soon as well. I've found my vintage air kit to be not much more than those meccano toy sets I played with as a kid. Real mickey mouse and cheap with how stuff is made/mounted. Everything seems to fit "close" but nothing seems to fit "perfect" and very little seems like it was made specifically for the application. I hope it works better than it went together.

I have a few good local welders in the area so hopefully I can do some new pieces and cut modify existing ones to get what I need. not fun but I knew from the beginning this was going to be a problems. Just another day and another hurdle.
