Re: Project "Class Act"
Was wondering if the blue on the firewall, floor and inside rear cab is a Lizard Skin heat barrier / sound deadener? I've not seen that color as a primer so I'm assuming it's a product I'm not familiar with, a product tinted with your body color or leftover paint from the frame.

Re: Project "Class Act"
Have a 67 GMC and read your heartfelt story. Glad to hear you're moving forward with it and wish you the best. Those bastards will get theirs someday...I used to have a hard time harboring anger towards crooks but now that I'm older I have to let it go, no room to be hating..I'm starting a build thread myself and look forward to your updates.

LOL Vic... Well the problem is I have been in the body shop business... I also had a company where I actually build Hotrods... We have a real good idea of time and materials for this stuff... so when something like this happens we get a little tense... |
Re: Project "Class Act"
Mine was a little more than that overbudget and my wife was not real pleased either but she wanted me to have my truck done my way .I sold my 55 Bel Air Hardtop in order to finish my truck with no regrets .

Re: Project "Class Act"

Re: Project "Class Act"
Looks nice!
Form personal experience- Al's liner (like Monsta) seems like it's no biggie, lemme tell ya, it's a PITA. Chucked the gun across the yard in victory after I shot the last bit for the second time. From what I've heard, the only one that's semi as advertised is Raptor. Sorry about the overruns, but it looks great! As least you got what you're paying for! (Don't get me started on Car audio shops. You aren't prepared for that level of Bile-fueled rage.) Glad it's coming home! |

Dan,
I brought that thing home a few hours ago! OK 1.5 Hrs but anyway... Where are the PICS. I had to change a flat (before even loading the trailer) to get it home... the least you could do is let me see it on the trailer. LOL |
