HA HA, you may have crossed paths with this truck. I bought it in 1987 when I was stationed in Crisfield, MD. The previous owner went to Assateague a lot (note the permit on the bumper)!!!

Take care,

Misled

My first 4x4! I know it's not much to look at now, but I have some things I want to do to it (suspension, wheels, paint, trim, brush guard, etc.) to personalize it. I'll post pics as I make progress over the next few months (or years).

Here`s my latest addition to the family.A`71 short K/10,very original,307/3spd.I have a TH350/205 for it and I`d like to get a 292 for it.I haven`t tryed to do anything with getting it to run yet.It won`t roll w/o the clutch depressed.I haven`t tryed to move it.I want to see what happens with the t-case in "N".

Hey Special-K,
How ya been? I'm back in the states for a few days to tie up some loose ends that my contractor didn't get around to doin'. I see you got yourself a SWB '71 4X4. I still haven't sold mine yet. It is parked in Maneta, Va. at my buddys house. He is keeping it lubed and rolling around with a "For Sale" sign on it. Your new project looks to be in damn good shape. I should be hooked up to the internet when I get back to Austria. Then I can get back on this sight. Good luck with her and take care.
Jim
