Cut off the door bottoms as well, so with the tube door quick hinges I fabbed earlier, I can still change out the doors.

Moving on...
How about line locks for the rear axle? Couldn't find any real info on it, so I went ahead and installed two elec. solenoids on the rear axle, one to each disc to aid in those front digs. Mounted the momentary contact switches in my center console lid. Not positive the push button style is the easiest but they definitely hide the best. Thinking about installing one on/off toggle so I could also use the line-lock set up as a parking brake. |

The dash repair got it's turn.
Being an off road ride, I decided function ruled over form as in 'stock'. The aluminum plate offers a quick/easy/functional repair with room to grow when I have the need to add gauges, switches and such. Nothing real fancy but it works. |

Only 6 months since the last post, guess I didn't break anything major this year.
Gotta wheel to break though and that didn't happen much at all this year with fuel prices and all the home renovation's that took place... :waah: Have some winter plans for it though. Hope to do a rear taper soon, have some swb bedsides and am currently looking into finding another fuel cell. The custom made one under the frame is coming out due to future plans to lengthen the wheelbase, the new cell will be mounted in the bed. The cell being pulled has an internal pump which I prefer but for this ride, a frame mounted pump should work fine. |

Parts are coming in...
Got the new fuel cell today and sent out a M/O for the frame mounted pump. Both parts are new/used from board members. :cool: |

Decided to bring it inside for some repairs.
Right now it's fix what was busted from the last time out and getting it prepped to do some snow wheelin'. Need to move the front brake line hard connection, the tire ripped the braded line right off the frame but you'll have that when you stuff a tire into the firewall I guess. :rolleyes: Next time in, it'll be to do the taper. Cut down the cage, install the fuel cell in the bed & mount the swb bedsides. |

The front axle moves around a lot due to the flexy spring pack, it's great to have flex but in this case it's to much. Even some sort of track bar to keep the axle in place might be a valid cure. No sense in installing high zoot bump stops if you can't get the axle to land on them, right? ;) |
