Well, once again, life has stepped in causing a small change in the gravitational pull around the old homestead...:waah: Here's a parting shot of the '60 Apache off to it's new home...

TRUCK TIME!!!:metal::metal::metal:

Life's been attempting to kick me around, but I'm not accepting that...;)

Finally found some time to install a new carb, :uhmk:
The one I had was a used flabby special that I rebuilt twice and after having no luck decided to replace... After the installation was complete the Stepper fired right up and is running like a champ. :bann:

On to the pics...:mm:

Old carb, oxidized and looking rough, ready to retire...

New Carb and new Choke cable ready to begin duty...

The Stepper fired right up, adjusted the idle and moved it in order to do some needed yard work...

Got a friend coming by later to help fine tune and ensure it's road ready...:metal:
Ready to drive to work tomorrow...:burnout:

Here's a shot of a local 17yo, and his daily driver, passing me Friday after work...

You don't play around when you say you're gonna replace the carb you replace the carb right now.

I'm just finishing up the sermon for tonight.

Thanks, again for calling. It's always good to hear from you Bro.

New carb! :metal: Crustine is getting due for a new eddy....this one has a flat spot when the engine is at operating temp. I think the accelerator is worn out. Carb is 5 years old and now daily driven for almost 1 year. Good to see an update brother! :chevy:

Good to see an update, Don. The new carb looks nice, as does the teen's teal daily driver! It's always good to see the youngsters keeping these ole rides roadworthy. :bowtie:

Re: Donz '65 SWB Stepper Budget Build...

Thanx Guys!!! Stepper runs like a dream, drove to work yesterday and the 350 is purring and revving like a champ with the new carb...:bann:

One of the perks of working at a parts store is seeing other rides...:metal:
Shared this with Rian and he prompted me to share out here... ;)

This one came by last evening... 1957 Jeep FC150... Interesting:mm:

I really like those old flat nose Jeeps. You don't see many in that good a shape anymore.

The best part of your video drive to work is your laugh at the end. That says it all about driving your own truck that you built or rebuilt, something you have blood, sweat and tears, time and money invested in.
