Thanks Ben, hopefully I can get the cab in the paint booth by next weekend. I will be building a cart for it on Sunday so I can roll it back and forth from the garage to the paint booth.

Oh believe me Tom I still have other colors that creep into my head  it's hard to make a decision on color and stick to it when there are so many really nice colors to choose from.

Got my cab cart built yesterday, now I just need to modify my fence and add a larger gate to it. My gate now is only 5' so I have to make it bigger so I can roll the cab through it to the back yard where the paint booth is.

That's a fancy looking cab dolly Keith. Looks like it's pretty stout.

Thanks Mike, I can't take credit for it. My father designed it, I just did cut all the wood and put it together.

Thanks Mike, good thing I work out  it actually moves around really easily. I told my wife she is responsible for steering it while I push.

Thanks Scott, I bolted the cab down to the dolly so it won't go anywhere, don't need it sliding off if I hit a rut in the grass

Where did you get all of your side trim?

The trim is from Mar-K, really nice quality. I bought it off a member here that bought it brand new but never installed it.

Like your cab dolly Keith, if you have a riding mower or 4 wheeler you could pull it around with it.....

Thanks Jason, I only have my arms and legs to push it around  now I wish I would have bought that riding lawnmower last year instead of the good ole push mower.

Thanks guys, took the day off today and spent it sanding filler on the doors. Still have a little more sanding to do and then I'll be ready for another coat of epoxy and then some slick sand. Should have that done this weekend. Then it's time to start on the cab.

It's coming along I guess  I tell you what, it's definitely not going to be perfect, I just don't have the patience or the ability to make it perfect. I'm realizing I made a huge mistake 5 years ago when I tore the truck down to the frame and attempted to do a ground up. I should have just left it alone and rocked the rust and patina and later on had a professional redo the body. I give big time credit to the guys that do this for a living.
