Re: I started an S10/S15 club!
ol, I'm in.
Always liked the first gen dimes. one day I'll have a Sy/Ty version... Got a 93 sonoma, with 95/96 S-10 SS 4.3 block backed by 700r4 w/manual VB and slap-stick shifter, and 'stupid arse' 4.11 rear gear and all sort of other assorted goodies done throughout. it's fun, fast, and first is basically useless, because of the rear end ratio, it just spins the 275/60r15's.... a 3.73 gear is on my wishlist. I basically take off in 2nd almost everywhere I go keeps up with traffic no prob haha. in the rain, 2nd is even a little skittish if you're hard on the throttle, but first in the rain is just goofy. Although it makes for impressive burnouts and donuts, it'll roast the tires off in no time, gets expensive though... and yes, one of the first things I did was take the 'SS' stickers off. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...s/IMG_3132.jpg underhood http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...s/IMG_3147.jpg I really got it to shoehorn the chassis under the truck in the background... but that's a project for down the road. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...s/IMG_3212.jpg ^ stickers taken off(it has a huge 'Super Sport' sticker on the tailgate), new tint and detailed. yea, I'm pic monger... |

you can also add them right from the new club/group. maybe this link will work? http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/g...res&groupid=80 I put a pic up there, you can just click add pictures next to that pic now. I guess before there was any pics, the option was harder to find... |

170,000 is nothing new for any chevy with roller lifters. BTW, i have to say I like the first gens better.

I joined. Here is the 02 blazer I bought rolled last spring and built the cage for. Some of my buddies have Jeeps and side by side UTVs so I thought this would be the best of both worlds and be cheaper. It's narrow enough to go on the ATV trails and is fairly capable. This winter I'll lift it and put a set of 32/11.5 15's on that I have in the barn waiting for it.
