RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Does the front kit move the wheel centerline forward,... to center the wheels in the wheelwell opening?
|
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
That looks awesome what ride height do you end up with I know tire size will make it very also how tall of a tire can you use up front I'm using a 245-40/20 on my truck now will there still be room. :metal:

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Same question as bodydropped 68; Are the front kits lowering kits? Can they be used with drop spindles if you already have them, or do you need stock spindles?
|
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
I'm assuming the ride height is adjustable?
Is the dampening of the shock adjustable too? |
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Nice kits, even though it seems a bit pricey for me.

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Does the drop spindle move the wheel out as other drop spindle do.

Gggrrrrrrrrrrr!
Didn't I just ask about this on these trucks in another thread. Maybe this is why they never replied to me. I like it though. |
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
I'm assuming these will cross over to square body 73-87-(91)trucks?
What's the ground clearance on them vs stock arms? Factory ball joints used? And how does one mount sway bars? Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Pretty badass setup. Should be a big seller.

The green truck in the ad is bagged not on coil-overs, correct?

They will use a factory style ball joints. The arms are designed to utilize our sway bars. |

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
I'm interested in the amount of adjustability in these setups. How low can it go from stock height with drop spindles and a c-notch in the rear?

I can run out in a little while and get a more direct side shot |
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Is that with drop spindles?
What size is the tire? What is the measurement from the front cab mount to ground? Sorry for the questions, just trying to figure out if it will get me to where I want to be sitting Posted via Mobile Device |

About 3/4"-1" too far back in the wheel opening. Just a thing I hate about these trucks. (my opinion) Porterbuilt and Hotchkis have addressed this. |

Is it the angle of the shot? (And I might be off a hair)

Can someone tell me why would Ridetech need to develop a different set up for the 73-87 C10? Thanks |

Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Thanks for the info.
1) Do the upper and lower bushings match stock C10 spindle? 2) Will your arms work with the stock 73-87 spindles? 3) Is it correct the $1400 kit does not include the coilover shocks? 4) Is it possible to buy the upper bracket alone if we already have arms, and if so, what would be the cost? Thanks |
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
1) Do the upper and lower bushings match stock C10 spindle?
-no, our control arms use Delrin self lubricating bushings, so you cannot use OE bushings. 2) Will your arms work with the stock 73-87 spindles? Yes, the difference is in the ball joint. We select the ball joints based on the platform year you order. If you are using spindles from a year other than the trucks manufacture date just let us know what year the spindles came from and we'll match it up. 3) Is it correct the $1400 kit does not include the coilover shocks? That is correct. As we offer many different shock options it's best to sell the two separately. This allows you to choose whatever shock option is best for your build. 4) Is it possible to buy the upper bracket alone if we already have arms, and if so, what would be the cost? The upper bracket is not available separately as the shock length is critical. So you need to use our new arms to make sure the dimensions are correct. |
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
Is the centering of the wheels, in the wheel-well, going to be addressed by RideTech?
|
Re: RideTech's New C10 CoilOver Kits
The wheel is centered in the wheel well. The pic above just makes it look like it's not.
I'm on my phone so I cannot add a pic. |
